Some panoramas may be stitched incorrectly due to a mismatch in the exposure of individual images. This u can easily be corrected by adding control points that match the exposure of other images. PTGui only allows you to add points, but it does not have a grid to easily determine the correct areas of a stitched panorama. Autopano Giga offers a library to store the settings for each source image, a feature which can save you from having to repeat the settings process for each project. This makes it easier to begin a large project. While all Autopano Giga functions are similar to those found in PTGui, the Undo function of PTGui does not exist. It is possible to reverse settings, but it is not possible to go back to the way things were.

The standard version of Autopano Giga is the 2.0 release. Its interface is similar to that of PTGui, but it is slightly different when working on documents or with multiple panoramas.
