While the enemies featured in the game are similar to zombies, Bend Studio named them "Freakers". The Swarmers in the game were inspired by "a guy who was doing a YouTube video where he was moving weird", while the Newts were inspired by contortionists.[27] Swarmers may congregate to form a horde of 50 to 500. To better optimize the horde, Swarmers are divided into small clusters. If they are close to the player, some of these horde clusters will split off from the main group, making them easier for players to manage. In a large horde, there are eight Swarmer character models; the team modified the height of each one to make their appearance and behaviors unique. The team spent a lot of time working on the group artificial intelligence (AI) to ensure the horde would not only charge at Deacon in a straight line but would also make use of the terrain to overwhelm the player character.[32]
These guys should be strong so they can help keep the peace among the survivors. During non-conflict times, they will be the police force. If their settlement is attacked by bandits or zombies, they become foot soldiers. Make sure they know the law, enforce it and most of all, perform it effectively and fairly. Military combat arms personnel, combat veterans, and special response team personnel are excellent examples of individuals that can serve in this role.
Natural Disaster Survival is a different and unique game from all the games on this list. It comes up with a distinct idea of natural disaster in that the player has to survive instead of zombies and enemies. It gives this game a competitive advantage over others. It includes destructive earthquakes, volcanic outbursts many more disasters to survive. There are different maps the player will be placed in for each round to survive devastating disasters. This game also enables you to form a team to increase the chances of your survival by helping each other go through these deadly disasters safely.

This game also allows you to form a team with your friends if you want to survive for long using tactics and strategies with your teammates.
So far this academic year has been one of playful learning. Colleagues in the Library have already run Open Access escape rooms for #OAWeek, used Lego in teaching, and organised a brilliant Stranger Things inspired quest as part of #LibrariesWeek. This post, however, will focus on an online game created for Welcome Week to introduce new students to the Library; one where players had to choose their own adventure and successfully navigate our services to survive a zombie apocalypse. 2b1af7f3a8
